Here are some security ideas to consider for your property.
🔒 Physical Security Measures • Lockable fuel caps and cages: Install tamper-proof or lockable caps on fuel tanks. Consider enclosing the tank or boat in a secure cage. • Motion-activated lighting: Bright lights deter thieves and alert you to movement near the boat or fuel tank. • Secure gates and fencing: Ensure your garden is enclosed with lockable gates and high fencing to limit access. • Anchor the boat: Use ground anchors or wheel clamps to make it harder to move or tamper with the boat. 📡 Monitoring & Alerts • Fuel level alarms: Install a smart fuel monitor or tank alarm that alerts you to sudden drops in fuel levels. • CCTV cameras: Position cameras to cover the boat and fuel tank area. Choose models with night vision and cloud storage. • Smart home integration: Link alarms and cameras to your phone for real-time alerts.
